Bespoke Wedding Band

Imperial Topaz pattern using the exact same crystal we used in the ring

Remember the rough Imperial Topaz and Yellow Diamond engagement ring we made earlier in the year? Well, the bride needed a wedding band to fit the unique shape of the original piece and who do you think was up for the challenge!

BEST FIT WED-FIT

Using the original scans of the engagement ring, our team at the workshop were able to create a slim, curved and rounded ring to fit perfectly.

TO ROSE GOLD OR NOT TO ROSE GOLD

After much deliberation, we went with a 18ct Yellow Gold band as we thought using the same gold as the engagement ring, which was 9ct rose, would make the ring look uneven and thicker on one side. By using the yellow gold, the warmer tones in the diamonds either side of the Topaz shine brighter bringing the two pieces together harmoniously.

SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BORROWED,  SOMETHING BLUE

If only our client had gone for a blue stone or blue nano ceramic coating like in our Chromanteq collection, they could have ticked one more thing off their wedding tradition list. Hold on, idea alert, the cogs are ticking for our new bridal collection now...
